Overview:
Asset Organizer is a Blender add-on designed to automatically organize your assets into collections based on their type. It also provides options to organize only selected assets, organize all assets, and delete empty collections in the scene. The add-on simplifies asset management, making it easier for users to keep their scenes organized with just a few clicks.
Installation Guide:

Download and Install the Add-on:
- Copy the provided .py script or download it.
- Open Blender.
- Go to the top menu and click Edit > Preferences.
- In the Add-ons tab, click Install (top-right).
- Navigate to the location of the .py file for Wasif's Asset Organizer and select it.
- Click Install Add-on.
- Check the box next to Wasif's Asset Organizer to enable the add-on.

Accessing the Add-on:
- Once enabled, you will find the Wasif's Asset Organizer panel in the 3D Viewport Sidebar.
- To open the sidebar, press N on your keyboard or click the small arrow on the right side of the 3D Viewport.
Features and Usage:
The add-on provides three main buttons:

Organize Selected:
- Description: Organizes only the assets you have selected in the viewport into their respective collections based on their type.

Usage:
- Select the objects you want to organize in your scene.
- Press the Organize Selected button.
- The selected objects will be moved to collections like "Meshes," "Lights," "Cameras," etc.

Organize All:
- Description: Organizes all the objects in the entire scene, regardless of selection, into their respective collections based on type.

Usage:
- Click the Organize All button.
- The add-on will automatically move all objects into collections like "Meshes," "Lights," "Cameras," etc.

Delete Empty Collections:
- Description: Deletes any empty collections in your scene that have no objects in them.

Usage:
- Press the Delete Empty Collections button.
- All collections that do not contain any objects will be removed, helping you clean up your Outliner.
What Does the Add-on Organize?
Wasif's Asset Organizer automatically organizes objects into the following categories:
- Meshes: All 3D models with mesh data.
- Lights: Light objects.
- Cameras: Camera objects.
- Curves: Bezier curves, paths, and other curve objects.
- Empties: Empty helper objects.
- Surfaces: Surface objects.
- Metaballs: Metaball objects.
- Texts: 3D text objects.
- Armatures: Armature (rigging) objects.
- Lattices: Lattice modifier objects.
- Speakers: Speaker objects.
- Volumes: Volume objects.
- Grease Pencil: Grease Pencil objects.
- Light Probes: Light probes for reflection and lighting information.
Tips:
- Organize Selected is useful when you only want to manage specific assets while working.
- Organize All is helpful to clean up your scene entirely when you’re finished.
- Delete Empty Collections will keep your scene's Outliner free of unnecessary collections, making it easier to navigate.
